Foreign Minister NP Saud Calls for Ethical Journalism

Sudurpaschim: During the inauguration of the Nepal Press Union Kailali chapter's convention on Monday, Foreign Minister NP Saud emphasized the importance of factual and fair reporting as a means to positively impact society. Minister Saud, a central member of the Nepali Congress, commended the journalists in Sudurpaschim Province for their significant contributions to national journalism.
In addition to highlighting the achievements of local journalists, Minister Saud expressed his belief that Nepal should seize the opportunities arising from the growing economies of neighboring India and China.
Addressing the gathering, Nrip Bahadur Od, a central member of the Nepali Congress, stressed the crucial role of impartiality in journalism, emphasizing the need to ensure unbiased reporting.
Various speakers, including Damodar Dawadi, former vice president of the Nepal Press Union, underscored the significance of journalism in society. The convention also featured the election of a new working committee.
